Essex County Council are planning a bidder's day for suppliers who are able to provide bus stop advertising, including the infrastructure across all 12 of its districts. The planned date for this bidder's day will be 12th January 2023. To register an interest in this event, please email stacey.sitton@essex.gov.uk and you will be contacted to confirm your attendance.
The purpose of this procurement activity is to secure an Essex-wide Bus Shelter contract that provides the maintenance of 1117 shelters in-scope, increasing to 1829 over the lifetime of the contract. Also included will be the build, maintenance and installation of new or replacement shelters and the selling of advertising space at agreed bus shelter locations. The Contract will have an initial term of 10 Years with an estimated value between £10 million and £30 million. An option to extend by a further 5 years will be included.
A market engagement day was held in 2019 for the project, where we were able to gain insight from suppliers in the market which has helped us to create the scope for this Procurement. We would now like to invite any providers who may be interested in submitting a bid, to a bidder's day. This will be an opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have and in turn we will provide you with the information you need to form a decision on whether you have the capacity and expertise to provide these services . Any questions will be captured and the responses shared and made available to all bidders as part of the clarification process.
