Norfolk County Council will be developing three new Supported Living sites in Kings Lynn, Norwich and Swaffham, all due to open early/mid 2025. Each site is going to accommodate about 20 people and it will provide support for Adults with a learning disability and or a physical disability. It is our intention that we award contracts for the support provision in Spring 2024 so Providers can play an active role in the development of the homes and in supporting the people to move in.

Norfolk County Council will be developing three new Supported Living sites in Kings Lynn, Norwich and Swaffham, all due to open early/mid 2025. Each site is going to accommodate about 20 people and it will provide support for Adults with a learning disability and /or a physical disability. It is our intention that we award contracts for the support provision in Spring 2024 so Providers can play an active role in the development of the homes and in supporting the people to move in.This is a potential opportunities for providers with experience of community based support, and supported living in particular, with both people with learning disabilities and people with physical disabilities. There are various things we need to consider and wish to engage with the market to inform the best way to achieve the end goals. We would like to invite interested providers to attend a Webinar on 5 January2024. We will also offer 1 to 1 meetings on a first come first served basis during the week beginning 8 January 2024 for providers to speak directly with the commissioners. If you would be interested in finding out more, please let us know via correspondence giving the email addresses of attendees. An invite will be issued to attend the meetings via Teams.
