two.2.4) Description of the procurement
•To provide clear, accurate and timely information and guidance to applicants/students on the OH screening process including points of contact for enquiry management and FAQs.
•To be responsible for the OH screening process including applicant/student communications, from initial screening through to assessment outcome.
•To provide OH assessments for students on programme where disclosures are made/student circumstances change. Referrals will be limited and approximately 10% of student population.
Allied Health programmes
•Initial and follow on OH Screening must be in line with latest guidance (HEOPS/NMC) https://heops.org.uk/guidance/ https://www.nmc.org.uk/registration/joining-the-register/health-and-character/
•To provide the university with the requisite Certificate of Fitness for successfully screened applicants ensuring this meets HEOPS/NMC requirements for Nursing (health screening and vaccination checks).
•To ensure applicants/students meet the NMC immunisation requirements.
Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programmes
•Initial OH Screening which has to be in line with latest guidance (DfE see below)
•To provide the university with the requisite Certificate of Fitness for successfully screened applicants ensuring this meets
Health and Physical Capacity to Train to Teach requirements Initial teacher training (ITT): criteria and supporting advice - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) and meets the standards set out The Education (Health Standards) (England) Regulations 2003 (legislation.gov.uk)
