two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Greener Futures Partnerships (GFP) is a consortium of five Registered Providers (Abri, Anchor, Home Group, Hyde and Sanctuary) who are working collaboratively to deliver the sustainable retrofit of homes.
Between them, GFP have over 300,000 homes in the UK, from the south coast all the way to north of England and into Scotland. In order to support the delivery of decarbonisation works to their existing homes, GFP are jointly procuring a National delivery framework of suitably qualified constructors and consultants to support them on their journey. As well as creating a market leading route to market, GFP also aspire to create a truly collaborative framework where all parties are contributing and continually developing best practice in the field of decarbonisation.
The framework will be for a total of seven years (4+3) to enable delivery of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) and will be open to all Contracting Authorities in England, Wales and Scotland to access.
The framework will include an innovative approach with its bespoke commercial models, allowing various options to call off works.
It is envisaged that their will be multiple regional lots with a range of value bandings to encourage small, medium and large constructors and consultants to join the framework. In conjunction with the framework, GFP will also be procuring a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for emerging technology and materials to support the delivery of the wider decarbonisation construction work.
Once awarded, the framework will be supported by Pretium Frameworks.
As part of the scoping process, an open market engagement event was held on 11th October, which included a presentation on GFP and interactive polling with attendees to ascertain key aspects of the procurement.
A copy of this presentation including the polling results is available to download. More information about GFP and Pretium Frameworks can be found at www.greenerfuturespartnership.co.uk and www.pretium.co.uk
