Fire Risk Assessments and Fire Door Surveys to properties owned and managed by Babergh District Council and Mid Suffolk District Council.

The services required by the Contract include but are not restricted to:

• Visual Fire Door Surveys

• Intrusive Fire Door Surveys may be required as the Contract term progresses

• Fire Risk Assessments to residential properties (including Type 1,2,3,4 where applicable)

• Fire Risk Assessments to corporate buildings (including Type 1,2,3,4 where applicable)

• Fire Risk Assessments to Sheltered and Extra Care Accommodation

• Fire Risk Assessments to Temporary Accommodation

• Pre and Post Occupation Fire Risk Assessments

• Compartmentation Surveys

Description of possible extension:

It is intended that the Contract will commence in January 2026, and run for a period of three years with the option for renewal, as

decided by Babergh District Council and Mid Suffolk District Council, for an extension of up to a further one year plus one year subject to satisfactory reviews based upon performance and quality of service and delivery. The maximum duration of the Contract is therefore five years.
