East Ayrshire Council require to set up a flexible Framework Agreement with community organisations to provide a Peer Outreach Service within specific communities as identified by the Council as funding is made available. The Framework Agreement will be for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further year.
Due to the nature of the service, as there are currently community organisations providing a service within 3 of our 4 areas, these organisations will continue to provide the service as long as they pass this application process, therefore other organisations will only be requested to apply for these areas through another Contract Notice if one of the existing organisations fail, ie Dalmellington & Bellsbank, Kilmarnock (North West) and Cumnock/Auchinleck. Applications are sought from the organisations currently providing the service to these areas
Suitably experienced organisations known within the Shortlees, Kilmarnock community should apply at this time to provide another service in this area.
The Framework will be re-opened for new applications to become a provider whenever the Council assesses there is a need in a specific area of East Ayrshire and funding has been made available. Note that should this occur during the term of the Framework, the maximum term for any new organisation to be included in the Framework will be in line with the original term (ie up to January 2027).
