The Council’s Sports Service (Active Leicester) is looking to procure a sports management
and electronic point of sale system. The required system will need to be able to manage
bookings, memberships, invoices, Direct Debits, assets, and to enable the facilities to
receive, record and reconcile income. Additionally, the system will need to provide a means
of managing access control into the various centres, by integrating with our current access
control solutions.
The system must also support our digital transformation agenda and enable us to grasp the
next level in transformation, by improving the customer experience on and offline. The
service wants a stronger emphasis on online functionality, therefore the ability for customers
to transact online via an app and self-service web portal is crucial.
