The University’s Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) department has developed an Interim Delivery Model (IDM) as a Proof of Concept (PoC), where we established a working relationship with a number of 3rd party Technology Partners, (an organisation that provides business consulting, information technology and outsourcing services).The 3rd party have provided Delivery Managers (DM) to assist the DDaT teams in delivering University technology focused projects. Having validated the PoC, the University is now seeking Technology Partners to support the wider delivery of its technology outcomes.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The scope of the project is to engage Technology Partners to provide an outsourced solution for University managed services through a call-off agreement. This will include the ability to seamlessly onboard resources, as required, to provide resource flexibility in line with the University’s needs and demand requests. This resourcing will have a skillset in line with supporting the University’s technology architecture. The University is working through a significant number of projects, as such, the Technology Partner will need to demonstrate substantial knowledge and experience of developing and delivering software and hardware projects.

The contract term will be for a period of 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years to be reviewed year on year and subject to agreement by both parties.
