This Invitation to tender requests transport agents to submit applications for British Council’s transport tender framework for international visual arts loans and/or domestic visual arts loans. The framework will be active from January 2024 –January 2028.The British Council works with partners to organise exhibitions internationally. These exhibitions cover a wide range of disciplines and vary in size and budget providing opportunities for museums and galleries locally and around the world to engage with the best of contemporary British art.There are artworks from the Collection on loan to other British Council Offices internationally. Artworks are returned to the Collection at the end of the loan period.As part of collections management, artworks will need to be collected and returned from conservation studios; commercial storage and the British Council also manages a number of long loans which may require deinstallation and collection and/or transfer to another location.Br
