The Council is seeking to engage suitably experienced and qualified Suppliers to enter into a Contract for the provision of consultancy services for the revaluation of land and property assets for financial reporting purposes (Asset Valuations) within the County of Powys.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Annual revaluation of the Council’s rolling programme property portfolio, spread over 6 financial years to include general fund (operational assets) assets held for sale, surplus and investment assets.
-The revaluation of assets, which have been enhanced in value during a particular financial year as a result of capital works being undertaken to the property.
-The revaluation may be applicable to a specific area of a property, or the entire property.
-The revaluation of Council County Farms assets in 2023/2024 and 2026/2027. This currently comprises some 11,300 Acres land and woodland being some 140 farms and smallholdings and some 45 blocks of woodland.
-The revaluation of the Welsh Church in 2023/2024 and 2026/2027 currently comprising some 8 land assets
-The revaluation of the Council Housing assets comprising some 5400 Council house and some 500 plus garages in 2023/2024 and 2026/2027.
-An annual valuation of any property, which has been subject to impairment.
-The provision of other asset valuations required due to category change.
-The valuation of the Leased in assets in 2024/2025 and 2027/2028
