UK Parliament is looking for cast iron specialists with demonstrable experience that they have the capability and expertise to carry out the works which will comprise of;• Removal, refurbishment/replacement, fabricating and re-installation of cast iron roof components• In-situ repair of the supporting cast and wrought iron structure• Removal of asbestos from roof voids (where practical and cost effective)• Removal of redundant services from roof voids (where practical and cost effective)• Limited, urgent Health & Safety risk mitigation stone repairs• Downpipe repairs • Repair of abutting flat asphalt roofs• Installation of safe access system

UK Parliament is looking for cast iron specialists with demonstrable experience that they have the capability and expertise to carry out the works which will comprise of the refurbishment & repair of damaged elements of the historic roof structure and components, and the application of an anti-corrosion treatment. Prospective activities include;-Removal, refurbishment/replacement and re-installation of cast iron roof components (incl. Repair within a factory setting)-Technical examination of tiles for damage -In-situ repair & painting of the supporting cast and wrought iron structure-Fabricating new replacement cast iron roof components-Asbestos Removal-Removal of redundant services from roof voids-Temporary relocation of services off the cast iron structure and reinstallation on completion of roof repair works-Temporary relocation of services (security cameras, lightening protection system) off roof areas and reinstallation on completion of the works-Health & Safety risk mitigation stone repairs-Downpipe repairs-Repair of abutting flat asphalt roofs-Installation of safe access system, including walkways & ladders etc-Working in and around a Grade 1 listed building/heritage site (particularly ones that are congested and with constant footfall).Attached with this PIN is a questionnaire we would like any and all interested suppliers to review and complete. This includes a brief description of our scope of requirement as well as a few questions with which your answers will help us to determine our best approach to tender. Upon review of all submitted questionnaires, we expect to understand the available market place and therefore proceed to tender with the most appropriate supplier(s).
