Framework for unattended Library self-service access technology, associated services and on-going management. Self-service access technology will integrate with existing specialist Library management software and line of business systems enabling services such as book borrowing kiosks, computers and printing outside standard opening hours. Technology will enable increased and flexible access to library buildings through membership-based door entry systems and associated security features.

Under the framework, Surrey County Council intends to purchase technology and associated services for a selection of libraries under its management (aiming for 13 sites within the first call-off contract). If successful, this technology may be purchased again for other Surrey library sites. The framework is open to other library services as stated in the notice.
