The report recommends procurement of a specialist software system for transport management, to provide functionality beyond the capability of the Excel systems currently used. This will aid route planning, option appraisal and testing, record keeping, scheduling, payment processing, data exchange with other Council systems (for example Integra or SEEMIS), report creation, and analysis of data on contract performance, pupil numbers, eligibility and reasons for changes in costs. As part of our fact-finding process, The Council is inviting suppliers to provide information requested in the attached "Request for Information" document.
