The Home Office is the lead government department for immigration and passports and is responsible for securing the UK border, controlling immigration and issuing passports and visas.
The Home Office seeks market knowledge from suppliers in relation to the provision of a mobile device application and functional service wrapper necessary to capture and verify applicant identities:
- Scanning or reading documents (passport)
- Identity capture including facial biometric enrolment
- Document verification
- Real-time facial matching
- Liveness assessment
- Integration (Home Office application and case working systems)
