Home Group is seeking to appoint suitably experienced and qualified contractors to provide compliance services to its properties in London and the South East of England.
The scope of the contracts covers the following work:
1. Gas servicing and responsive repairs
2. Electrical testing including associated servicing repairs
It is anticipated TUPE will apply to the contract. Prospective tenderers must request access to the TUPE list and then all correspondence related to TUPE will thereafter be between the prospective tenderer and incumbent supplier.
The services will be provided at predominately residential tenanted dwellings or multi-occupancy supported properties owned and/or managed by Home Group. Bidders should note that additional properties may be included within the scope of the contract during the term at Home Group’s discretion.
The works and services will be carried out under a JCT MTC form with a schedule of amendments specific to Home Group. Bidders should note that the terms of the Contract will give the parties the ability to agree a variation to the contractual arrangements at any point during the Contract term.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The scope of the contracts covers the following work:
1. Gas servicing and responsive repairs

Bidders should note that additional properties may be included within the scope of the contract during the term at Home Group’s discretion.

The prices submitted for the gas servicing and repairs contract must cover all annual servicing and responsive repairs including a breakdown/emergency call out provision covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For full details please refer to the specification included in the tender pack.
The price submitted for the electrical servicing & associated servicing repairs contract must cover the periodic electrical inspection and include for the rectification of any C1 and C2 repairs identified. For full details please refer to the specification included in the tender pack.
Certain repair elements will be deemed to be excluded from the primary prices submitted, these are defined in the contract specific exclusion lists.
Any repairs that are deemed excluded from the fixed pricing element will be paid for based on the relevant NHF Schedule of Rates code and the variance specified by the bidder in their pricing submission.
Home Group reserves the right to appoint further works and services of a similar nature to the above works and services at its discretion during the Contract term. For more details of the works and services to be carried out under the Contract please refer to the supporting procurement documents.
Retrofit Renewable Technologies
Over the duration of the service contract, Home Group will continue to invest in renewable technologies.
As part of Home Groups sustainability commitment, it is anticipated that Home Group will elect to include additional works and servicing to include retrofit renewable technology installations.
Through Partnership working, Home Group and the Service Provider will consider the application of Renewable Technologies and their best fit in our Customers’ Homes and commit to the development of annual planned programmes of installation works.
It is expected that the Service Provider will upskill their workforce to allow for the effective servicing and repair of all specialist installations to be undertaken, which will be delivered and managed in accordance with contractual Key Performance Indicators.
Grant Funding and other options will be considered as part of the successful route to market.
All activities are to be undertaken in compliance with all current applicable statutory and legislative requirements, industry standards, manufacturer’s instructions, British standards and in accordance with the Contract terms.
