North Lanarkshire Council has a programme to re-provision its tower estate over the next 25 years, Significant progress has been made to
date with several high / low-rise blocks now demolished.
As part of this programme, there is an urgent requirement to appoint a specialist demolition engineer to assist the Council on two projects that are partially demolished with ongoing specialist support for the remainder of the phase 1 demolition programme.

-Provide urgent specialist advice regarding partially demolished structure – including recommendations;
-Provide expert advice on demolition methodologies;
-Assist selection of suitably experienced and competent demolition contractors;
-Principal designer role;
-Review and approving of further demolition plans, engineering calculations and temporary works designs;
-Monitoring the demolition projects to ensure it is executed in technically sound and safe manner; and
-Project administration.
