Description

The objective of this tender is to empanel competent suppliers and have Framework agreements for providing Car Hire Services to FCDO and 1HMG partners in India. Staff members of British High Commission, British Deputy High Commissions, visiting officials from the UK and non-Staff will be the potential service recipients of these Framework Agreements.

The contractors are expected to provide 24x7 support and should have the capacity to meet additional requirements (on request, as detailed in the SOSR) throughout the contract performance period. The Framework Agreements will be multiple suppliers without having the need of run individual RFQs. The contract shall be valid initially for a period of 3 years starting from 1st July 2025, with a provision for an extension of 2 more years, subject to satisfactory performance by selected supplier and continued business requirement at FCDO.

Framework operation description

This is fixed rate contract. Any travel arrangement requiring individual car or a fleet of cars costing up to £3,000 will be on direct award basis with any of the framework supplier. All travel arrangements that will cost more than £3,000 will be awarded on the basis on mini competition among all the selected suppliers listed in the framework.

PAYMENT TERMS

Payment will made monthly against valid invoices. Authority ensures payment to contractor within 30 days of receipt of invoice and other relevant document (if required). All payments will be electronically transferred to bank account against the services delivered or via Global Procurement card (GPC) Card.
