Ashburton Triangle is a residential block, constructed from a concrete frame, with concrete block infill. Building facade materials consist of zinc cladding, brickwork, fair-faced concrete, and red decorative cladding/spandrel panels. Balconies are present to all elevations.

Fire safety works are required which will consist of the removal of non-complaint or defective materials and replaced with materials of A1 or A2-s1, d0 classification. Cavity barriers will also be installed to all compartments.
