The Authority has recently purchased 5.5 hectares of un-serviced expansion land, adjacent to the hospital, which will provide the Authority with an opportunity to address demand growth. At present, the Authority operates an in-house Private Healthcare Facility, within the main hospital build. The Authority is looking to reconfigure its emergency front door services and is exploring an opportunity to relocate its Private Healthcare Facility to optimise clinical pathways and make best use of existing hospital estate, which will also maximise commercial opportunity.
We are, therefore, looking for interest from potential partners who would undertake all or any aspects of the design, build, funding and (full or part) operation of a Private Healthcare Facility for a defined contract period.
In addition, the Authority is interested in exploring similar options for additional developments, namely:
1) a Rehabilitation Facility;
2) a Medical Equipment Sterilisation Facility (SSU)
Next steps:
Prior to any future procurement process, the Authority wishes to engage with interested providers, developers or investors who would like to learn more about the Authority's requirements. The Authority is keen to explore potential commercial models, and options for funding, and service delivery.
Parties are asked to express interest to the buyer (details available within the notice) by 28th January 2022.
Interested parties should be keen to establish a forward-thinking and innovative relationship with the Authority, which will be explored through initial engagement soft market testing sessions.
