Cambridgeshire County Council is commissioning on behalf of Peterborough City Council and Cambridgeshire Constabulary for this procurement.
The Appropriate Adult (AA) service is designed to ensure that every young person and vulnerable adult in detention at a police station will have their rights and welfare safeguarded by an Appropriate Adult, when no parent, guardian or other adult carer is available to fulfil this role.
The Reparation service will work with young offenders. It will enable them to face the consequences of their actions, develop positive interests, access work experiences, and learn new skills and qualifications, such as Award Scheme Development and Accreditation Network (ASDAN), to reduce the risk of reoffending.
