The City of Edinburgh Council are looking to procure residential and day short breaks to children and young people (5 – 18 year olds) with autism, intellectual disabilities, challenging and/or complex needs. The building will accommodate a minimum of 5 beds (estimated 540 overnights per annum), provide suitable indoor/outdoor space for activities for day short breaks (supporting a minimum of 10 children and young people at any one time). The service will be available 7 days per week with the exception of 25th & 26th December and 1st & 2nd January
The service should be located within the Edinburgh boundary (or approximately 5 miles outside this boundary) to minimise the time young people have to travel.

It is intended that the commencement date will be April 2022 for a period of five years with the option to extend for a further 5 years (in 12 month increments at sole discretion of the Council).
