The City of Edinburgh Council are looking to procure residential and day short breaks to children and young people (5 – 18 year olds) with autism, intellectual disabilities, challenging and/or complex needs. The building will accommodate a minimum of 5 beds (estimated 540 overnights per annum), provide suitable indoor/outdoor space for activities for day short breaks (supporting a minimum of 10 children and young people at any one time). The service will be available 7 days per week with the exception of 25th & 26th December and 1st & 2nd January

The service should be located within the Edinburgh boundary (or approximately 5 miles outside this boundary) to minimise the time young people have to travel.

The City of Edinburgh Council are looking to procure residential and day short breaks to children and young people (5 – 18 year olds) with autism, intellectual disabilities, challenging and/or complex needs. It is intended that the commencement date will be April 2022 for a period of five years with the option to extend for a further 5 years (in 12 month increments at sole discretion of the Council).
