Providing PR&W has a vital role to play in supporting CWG transport delivery, helping to take the weight of Games demand at larger venues and guaranteeing access to those smaller venues where public transport may not be an option for all. TfWM is responsible for the delivery of the Games Transport Plan which includes PR&W.

The site operator will have the overall responsibility of operating and managing all PR&W sites including the appointment and management of third-party contractors as required. For the avoidance of doubt, the operation of shuttle bus services is not included within this scope and has already been awarded.

The contract will be awarded to a single supplier to ensure consistency across the planning and delivery of PR&W sites. The contract is to run from February 2022 for approximately 7 or 8 months until Autumn 2022, to coincide with the end of the games, in case any remediation works are required for any of the sites before handing back to the relevant landowner(s).

The closing date for submissions is 1200 on Friday 21st January 2021. If you have any clarification questions the deadline for submitting them is 1200 on Wednesday 12th January 2021.
