two.2.4) Description of the procurement

EMH manages circa 17,000 properties in the East Midlands region.Every property needs and EICR every 5 years under current group policy. Any remedial work needs to be undertaken as follows:▶ Any category 1 (immediate risk) work should be undertaken immediately (at initial visits). Evidence of any category 1 failures (such as photographs) should be made available to the customer upon request.▶ Any category 2 work should be reported to the Customer Contract Manager who commissioned the report with no delays (ordinarily on the day of finding), and only completed with the client’s explicit consent (up to an agreed value of £150). This rate is a guide can be reviewed and amended as required by the Customer Contract Manager.▶ Lower risk work up to an agreed value of should be undertaken immediately (at inspection). This agreed value is to be periodically agreed with the Customer Contract Manager. Historically it has been set as up to £100.▶ Any other works should be agreed with the Customer Contract Manager who commissioned the individual EICR, which should be via a written proposal.The installation, where required and the testing of Smoke and C.O. detection.
