Queen’s requires an Economic Operator(s) to provide a laundry and linen hire service primarily to Queen’s Accommodation and Campus Food and Drink. This will include the laundry of bedding (single/twin/double sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers), and towels. Laundry services are required across Queen’s Schools and Directorates. For the majority of areas this will involve the laundering of a small number of items on an ad hoc basis. Examples include the laundering of curtains and laboratory coats. Students and staff may also use the dry-cleaning service for their clothes on an ad hoc basis.With regards to Campus Food and Drink, there is the requirement to hire quality linen including napkins and tablecloths in order to service catering and hospitality within the University. The number of items required to be hired will vary, depending on the number of events scheduled and linen orders are usually placed a week in advance. These services will also be available to Queen’s Schools a
