University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust "UCLH" and Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust "RNOH" will be collaborating to procure non-emergency patient transport services.

UCLH employs over 9,700 WTE staff, has approximately 1,063 beds across all its sites with approximately 160,000 inpatient admissions and 950,000 outpatient appointments per annum.

RNOH directly employs 1,610 people with hundreds more employed by partners supporting its work. It provides services on three sites; Stanmore Hospital has around 200 beds including 14 intensive care beds and is set in 112 acres of land in the London Borough of Harrow. The Bolsover Street site, for outpatient and diagnostic services is located in Central London and Enfield MSK Hub.

There is potential for this agreement to grow to include other partners across the NCL landscape.

The procurement process will be a mini-competition from the London Procurement Partnership (LPP) Dynamic Purchasing System for Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services.
