North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is a commissioning support service working for and on behalf of NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (the Relevant Authority), who undertook a competition to commission Community Based Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service for Newcastle Place under the NHS Standard Contract 2023/24.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded using the Competitive Process.

The contract length is 5 years (3 years plus an optional 24 month extension period, subject to satisfactory financial and contractual performance and at the discretion of the Relevant Authority), commencing 01 February 2025.
