A market leading careers system is a key element for the University achieving strong overall student destination outcomes, as measured by the Graduate Outcomes Survey. DMU currently has room for improvement on both Graduate Outcomes results rates and the amount of DMU students progressing into highly skilled employment. A careers system that provides a better student experience, and crucially delivers on improving our employer engagement capabilities could be seen as a game changer. With so many DMU students falling into a widening participation category, it is essential that we are providing them with market leading careers technology that will place them on a level playing field with more privileged peers. The University needs to offer a careers service platform that has a strong competitive positioning in the marketplace, which will frame the University’s future offer over the next decade and best supports the Empowering University strategy.
