The following Pre Market Questionnaire and Pin Notice are to provides a short overview of Forensic Science Northern Ireland (FSNI)’s proposed new building, known as project Atlas, and is intended only to inform interested tenderers of the forthcoming procurement competition incorporating both a Works and Term Service Contracts for the provision of a new building and subsequent maintenance services. The following short description outlines the proposed upcoming procurement. The appointment of an Integrated Supply Team (IST), building contractor-lead, comprising building, mechanical, electrical and specialist subcontractors and professional construction consultants to deliver the Client's requirements for the detailed design and construction of a new building for Forensic Science NI, and to provide post completion planned preventative and reactive maintenance services. Services required typically include those defined by RIBA Plan of Work 2020 Stages 4 to 7. The new building is 3/4 storey, with full roof level plant area, on a split level site, circa 10,400m2 (GIA), comprising office, laboratory, storage, support and ancillary spaces, with permanent high level link to an existing FSNI building. Site works include external plant buildings, garage, hard and soft landscaping, and associated infrastructure works including drainage and utilities connections. All works undertaken in a shared, live and operational PSNI complex (known as Seapark).
