two.1.4) Short description

Haringey Council wishes to invite interested Service Providers to attend a market engagement event in relation to the Council's planned procurement of four Partnering Contracts with four separate Service Providers for the delivery of the Council’s Capital Housing Repairs and Maintenance Programme between November 2023 and March 2034. The total estimated value of the works may be in the region of GBP600,000,000.00 to GBP800,000,000.00 over the intended 10.5 year term.

The contracts will relate to all Haringey owned buildings, including housing stock.

The Council has ambitious plans for investing in its housing stock over the next ten years. There are currently plans to include existing stock investment (The Haringey Standard), Decent Homes; energy improvements to deliver the Borough’s zero carbon targets; delivery of regeneration works at Broadwater Farm and the provision to deliver new homes including infill, conversions or rooftop developments.

The works will be split into 4 geographic Lots.

Key objectives of these contracts will include:

Ensuring that all stock meets the Decent Homes Standard by 2025 and this is maintained going forward

That all Council owned homes have a minimum of an EPC B by 2035

That statutory safety standards are maintained in all blocks.

Providing employment and training opportunities; supporting and enabling SME supply-chain in the borough to benefit from the investment and involving our residents at all stages in the procurement and delivery process.
