The service delivers a free and fully accessible transport service for disabled and elderly London residents. DaR vehicles currently operate from the following seven depots/ sub bases: Croydon, Fulwell, Mandela Way, North Wembley, Palmers Green, Wimbledon and Woodford.

The depots have a stock of spare wheels which are used to replace damaged or worn tyres. While the vehicles are at a depot, DaR fits wheels to axles, as and when necessary, using the spare wheels.
