Specialist chairs for Community Equipment Stores

Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of specialist core stock chairs

Project Description

The initial contract term will be for 24 months with an option to extend for a further 24 months (a potential total contract term of 4 years as stated in the ITT documents. Estimated contract spend is between £240,000 and £480,000 across the potential total 4 year contract term.

In this procurement the Authority intends to award a single supplier contract for the supply of a chair with estimated annual quantities of 100 chairs during this period ( but with no fixed commitment) for an initial period of two years.

These chairs are standard chairs for use in a home environment which have been recommended for use by an Occupational Therapist. These will be delivered to a stock location within the Borough of Swindon
