The requirement is for the call out and repair of gas and electrical kitchen equipment, annual testing of heavy gas and electrical catering equipment, Pat testing and the call out and repair of fridges and freezers.

The contract will cover approx. 96 outlets across Cheshire East, this is made up of 95 primary schools and 1 high school. The regional area covers Nantwich, Crewe, Sandbach, Alsager, Middlewich, Holmes Chapel, Knutsford, Congleton, Knutsford, Wilmslow, Macclesfield, Poynton and the surrounding areas.

• Part Four : PAT testing ( to be carried out at the time of Heavy Equipment Testing)

The Council will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to scrutinise the award decision before the contract is entered into.
