Description

The London Borough of Hackney is seeking to procure specialist roofing and scaffolding services which will be split into two-Lots:

Lot 1: Specialist Roofing and Scaffolding Contractors

- Two contractors required to work directly for Building Maintenance

- Evaluation criteria: 60% price, 30% quality, 10% social value

- Work allocation based on borough coverage:

* Highest ranked bidder: 60% coverage (West and South areas - 17,648 dwellings)

* Second ranked bidder: 40% coverage (North and East areas - 12,362 dwellings)

- Total dwellings: 30,010

Lot 2: Scaffolding Inspection Services

- One specialist contractor required

- Currently pending Cabinet approval for tender exercise

Note: Cabinet approval has been granted for Lot 1 tender exercise only. Lot 2 tender exercise is subject to pending Cabinet approval.

The borough coverage split has been calculated based on dwelling numbers from Property Data Source, aligned with Area Surveyor Manager postcode allocations.
