This procurement is focused on the health and wellbeing of the region's employees, via their employers, offering a digital solution that drives behavioural changes towards healthy lifestyles, which helps to prevent health and wellbeing issues that may lead to economic inactivity and ultimately contributes towards improved productivity for the West Midlands region.

We are aiming to procure a digital solution that will:

.1 support wellbeing commitments from employees such as smoking cessation, dietary improvements, increases in physical activity, sleep management etc.

.2 and be deliverable via approximately 200 employers, reaching approximately 200,000 employees across the West Midlands

.3 We are aiming to ensure that fewer people become unwell and fewer workdays are lost due to illness; research by Deloitte suggests that a 1% reduction in lost workdays across 200,000 employees would boost the local economy by at least £90m per year.
