Overall value of DPS

Instead of
Text

The previous lifetime value of this DPS was listed as £10m in total (across both lots).

Read
Text

The lifetime value of this DPS will increase to £50m for the following reasons:• Significant rise in regional transport requirements - especially for young people with special educational needs (SEN) and refugees who are being hosted in the local community.• Economic and political factors which have led to rising fuel costs, driver and passenger assistant shortages, increased wages, vehicle and parts shortages / delays. This means that new contracts are notably higher value than we have seen previously and so overall value has been adjusted to allow for continued awards during this DPS.
