two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Across UKHSA Public health surveillance and research studies are conducted to gather data, used to help inform Public Health policy development, national strategy and the commissioning of services. Surveys as a means of data gathering have been utilised by the business for several years and form a core business activity. The Agency does use e-vouchers as an incentive for the majority of research participants however to encourage the participation of vulnerable underrepresented social groups, the Agency is seeking a supplier of gift cards that can be redeemed with multiple high street retailors, particularly budget retailors by vulnerable groups, for whom e-vouchers would not be an accessible incentive.
The duration of this contract will be for an initial 1 year with the option to extend three times (3+3+5). Extensions will be dependent on the feasibility and value for money during each term. The duration of this Contract shall be no longer than twelve (12) years in total or until the maximum value of £1m (excl. VAT) is consumed. However, no new cards will be purchased during the last 2 years.
The Authority is not able to give any commitment as to the volume of Gift Cards required.
