The intended outcome of the process is to award contract(s) to support individual service users and tenants across the city where a need has been identified for household de-cluttering, deep-cleaning, ad hoc cleans and regular cleaning services.

The value of these services combined is approximately £500,000 per annum. Indicative contract length approximately 4 years. two.2.4) Description of the procurement

De-clutter and deep cleaning Services are intended as a 'one-off' service, where a provider will restore a person's home to a standard that promotes safety, health and wellbeing, and prevents loss of accommodation and homelessness. This is likely to involve situations where a property has become neglected and unfit to live in, including properties deemed unsafe due to hoarding. This may include clearance of outside areas around the property, especially access routes. Additionally this may entail deep-cleaning a property that has become a risk to the health of the occupier.

'Ad hoc' cleaning services will provide a high standard of cleaning on a 'one-off' basis as a way of restoring accommodation to a standard that promotes safety, health, and wellbeing

Regular cleaning services will support those who, through ill-health or personal circumstances such as substance use are unable to maintain their accommodation as a safe and pleasant place to live. This will ensure a high level of cleanliness to an agreed cleaning plan.
