The Authority is seeking to appoint a provider to deliver a Care and Wellbeing Service for the Extra Care Housing Scheme at Ewart House

Ewart House is an Extra Care Scheme comprising of 47 independent flats over 3 floors. There are 2 lifts accessing all floors, a lounge/dining area with tea/coffee making facilities, laundry, guest facilities, landscaped communal gardens and a hairdressing sink and computer points in the communal areas. A community alarm system is hard-wired into the building.

The Care and Wellbeing Service will provide personalised strengths based care and wellbeing for Harrow citizens aged 55 and over with frailty, physical and/or sensory disabilities and/or mild-moderate learning disabilities and /or mild-moderate enduring mental health needs who have been assessed as meeting the National Eligibility Criteria (Care Act 2014) and who are the responsibility of Harrow London Borough Council (the ‘Council’) for supporting their social care needs who live in the Extra Care Housing Scheme.
