The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to notify the market of Belfast City Councils intention to hold a pre-market engagement (PME) session with interested parties to inform them of a new tender in relation to a new Framework Agreement for the Provision of Professional and Technical Assistance.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Professional and Technical Assistance Framework will be used by Economic Development as well as wider Belfast City Council to ensure services are intelligence-led, quality assured, responsive to changing market dynamics, and aligned to deliver the maximum impact for the city and its economic growth agenda. It will support Council with professional and technical assistance that meet need as and when required thus ensuring flexible, responsive services across a range of areas:

• Intelligence, Analysis & Business Planning

• Engagement and Facilitation

• Quality Assurance

• Event Management

• Monitoring & Reporting

The PME session will give a brief overview of the new Technical Assistance Framework, including further details regarding the above areas of work and potential requirements. It will also give a brief overview of the procurement process including an indicative timeline.

The session will be run via MS Teams, where a briefing/information presentation will be delivered to all interested Contractors. The date of the PME session will be 17th October at 10am and will last approximately 90 minutes.
