Land Equipment Operational Infrastructure Team (the Authority) have a requirement for the purchase of Engineer Survey (ES) Equipment, including Total Stations, Global Navigation Satellite Systems, Hydrographic Survey Capability, Optical Levels, Electronic Levels, Rotary Levels and survey Data Processing Laptops and Software, including associated ancillaries, as well as the through life support of engineer survey capability.

ES instruments allow Military surveyors to carry out the following functional requirements:

All site levelling tasks including formwork

Conduct topographic surveys

Carry out hydrographic surveys

Conduct tunnelling surveys

Collection of accurate intervisible electronic survey data & establish local line of sight control

Export topographical data for setting out purposes in industry standard formats

Collection of accurate survey data from areas that are not intervisible

Ancillaries (for example detail poles, tripods, etc.) are included with the relevant instruments.

The through life support of engineer survey capability will include the following services, but will not be limited to:

Provision of Training

Maintenance

Repair Service

Calibration Service and Servicing

Codification
