Provision Specialist Vehicle Repairs Services for LBBD’s fleet

The Council and its ancillary arms require a Contractor to provide Specialist Vehicle Repairs Services for its fleet

The work included in this contract covers Specialist Vehicle Repairs support to LBBD’s in-house workshop at the Frizlands Depot, Dagenham but would be required to work at other Depots as and when needed. Services will include but not limited to:

• Vehicle diagnostic - Contractor’s equipment.

• Vehicle servicing and general fleet repairs - Parts and consumables supplied by LBBD

• Basic Welding - Equipment supplied by LBBD

• Electric diagnostic - Contractors’ equipment

• Electrical repairs - Parts and consumables supplied by LBBD.

• Service/Maintenance of Plant equipment – Parts and consumables supplied by LBBD

• Tail Lift repairs and servicing - Parts and consumables supplied by LBBD

• Tipper repairs and Hydraulics - Parts and consumables supplied by LBBD

• Ford accredited warranty repair for car and commercial vehicles - Contractor’s equipment

• Ford accredited software updates for car and commercial vehicles - Contractor’s equipment

• Vehicle breakdowns as and when required, (mainly within the borough but may be required to attend breakdowns outside the borough from time to time).

The Contractor shall deliver the service to the Authority covering multiple locations around Borough as detailed in the specification

The contract is for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for a period of up to 2 years
