NatureScot wish to appoint a suitable qualified supplier to:

- Decommission the existing battery system comprising 72 Rolls lead acid batteries on the Island of Rum, and arrange transport to, and processing by, a suitable recycling facility.

- Decommission the existing 9 SMA SI5048 inverters on the Island of Rum, and arrange for re-sale, or transport to, and processing by, a suitable recycling facility.

- Design, supply, deliver install, test and commission a new lithium-ion battery-inverter system, using as far as possible existing wiring, with output to closely match the existing system, which is integrated with the remaining power system plant.

- Supply as-built documentation and training for four (4) island-based operators.
