Description
The school is seeking to appoint a cleaning contractor to deliver a general school cleaning service .
The school have identified the following areas as their key objectives for consideration when selecting their chosen service provider.
A service provider who will: (in no particular order)
• Provide a top-quality cleaning service to the pupils, staff, and visitors of Eastbury Community School.
• Provide an exceptional value for money and cost-effective cleaning service that is thoroughly robust and measurable.
• Being aware of the nature of working in a school environment and the safeguarding challenges/requirements therein.
• Provide a strong cleaning management team at school to manage the services with good consistent support for the team on site.
• Provide robust and compliant policies and procedures.

- £3,000,000 including VAT

Competitive flexible procedure description
The procedure will consist of four distinct stages, allowing for an initial assessment of interested suppliers. Suppliers will be evaluated against the specific objectives of the new contract through the following stages:
Selection Stage and Shortlisting
Invitation to Tender (ITT) and Shortlisting for Presentation
Presentation of Proposal to the Authority
Reference Checking
The evaluation of the shortlisting process will be based on the information submitted by the bidding companies. A shortlist of suppliers will be compiled, with the 4 highest-scoring submissions invited to progress to the subsequent stage of the procurement process.
Only those companies that are selected and formally notified will be invited to submit a response during the ITT stage.
