The current premises is owned by NHS Property Services (landlord).
It is a priority of NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB) to ensure that patients will continue to access a full range of GP services and the care that they need.
The ICB has considered the commissioning options for the provision of primary medical services to this patient population including the key risks and benefits that are associated with these and the ICB has decided to offer this as a branch surgery in the existing premises. It is important to note that branch surgeries shall be held to the same standard of service level as a main surgery.
This option to offer this as a branch surgery aims to maintain capacity within the area for the future, which is needed due to the size of the community, distance to other services and the lack of infrastructure. This option would minimise the disruption to patients and would strengthen an existing GP contract.
Please note in terms of the estimated total value advertised as this is a GMS contract, meaning it will be held in perpetuity the figure of £706, 680.04 is based on the estimated annual value.
