PPlus Dane Housing intend to enter into contract with either a single or two providers for a period of 5 years, with two optional 24 month extensions. The contract(s) will be to provide, deliver, and support a business intelligence solution to the organisation which the business will benefit from. Lot 1 covers ETL and Data Layer with lot 2 covering visualisation, both lots can be awarded individually or the same provider.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Lot1:

1.Extract, Transform and Load - This refers to the data transformation element of the new BI Solution and while ETL is being used this is simply for ease of communication, and other models such as ELT are welcome. Plus Dane welcomes all proposals that meet our requirements and have no preference or predilection to a particular solution.

2.Data Layer / Data Warehouse - This refers to the persistent storage element and will act as the single repository for data within the new BI Solution. It will be the source and destination for ETL tooling and the source of data for the Data Visualization tool(s).

While terms like Data Layer, Data Warehouse or Lake may be used within the tender documentation and other supporting documentation, this is simply for ease of communication.
