PROVISION OF HEALTHY SCHOOL DELIVERED-IN MEALS

TUPE does not apply to this tender as staff are employed by the school.

1. SCOPE

To provide every pupil, member of staff and guests at Cedar Park School who so requires a nutritionally balanced hot meal at lunchtime, breakfast and break time healthy snack that meets the food standards as laid out by 2014 No. 1603 The Education (The Requirement for School Food Regulations (England) 2014.

2. OUTPUTS

Provide a delivered in catering provision for all pupils, members of staff and guests. There may be an opportunity to provide locals school with a delivered service.

Our Purpose

There are three primary purposes for catering at Cedar Park School:

1) To provide and manage a sociable environment for students and staff to meet and eat together, enabling young people from different backgrounds to socialise in accessible surroundings, enhancing the staff and student experience and helping build a strong sense of community.

2) To provide value for money catering services for parents and to support the activities of the school.

3) To provide a nurturing environment to encourage healthy eating for our pupils on food education and wellbeing.
