two.1.4) Short description

This is a Prior Information Notice ("PIN") for an upcoming requirement from South East Coast Ambulance NHS Foundation Trust (SECAmb) for a 999 and 111 computer aided dispatch (CAD) system and an electronic patient care record (ePCR) solution.

This PIN is to inform the market of the future opportunity, it does not represent an invitation to tender, nor is it a request for formal expressions of interest. A further notice to formally advertise the tender is expected to be issued through Find a Tender Service at a later date.

This notice will provide a link to the Trusts eTendering portal and a brief description on its requirements; this information is indicative only.

It is anticipated that a Supplier will be appointed early 2023 thus providing a mobilisation period for the system to be installed, tested and operational by September 2024 - the systems will run on the Trust's infrastructure. The contract, once services commence, will be for an initial term of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years.

The estimated contract value is for the full 5 years.

The Trust will be seeking a supplier for a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system that is able to facilitate the handling of 999 and 111 call activity via NHS Pathways and is able to integrate with all typical external dependencies such as mobile data terminals, BT EISEC (Enhanced Information Services for Emergency Calls) and the spine.

The solution will be expected to be compatible with our current Windows 10 environment, have a modern user interface and take into consideration adjustments for disabilities. It will be required to integrate with the Trust’s Power BI reporting solution.

The Trust will be seeking a supplier for an Electronic Patient Care Record (ePCR) solution that is compatible with Apple iPads and is able to integrate with external dependencies such as the spine, whilst also integrating with the Trust’s Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system.

The solution should take into consideration adjustments for disabilities. It will be required to integrate with the Trust’s Power BI reporting solution.
