Section seven. Changes

seven.1) Information to be changed or added

seven.2) Other additional information

This is a F14 (Corrigendum notice for changes or additional information) notice to notify the market of the abandonment of the proposed procurement in Prior Information Notice (PIN) reference 2024/S 000-016099.

Following consultation with the market and internal SMEs across the CTP network, this procurement is being abandoned due to a change in circumstances. This change means a new procurement strategy must be created following further refinement of the requirement. The requirement for body armour still exists, however internal decision making must develop further prior to the entering of any commercial process.

When the new strategy is signed off, a revised PIN will be released to the market to gauge interest, and also request information from interested bidders prior to the commencement of the procurement activity. All procurement activity will take place on the Authority's Coupa Sourcing Portal, accessible at: https://supplier.coupahost.com/quotes/public_events?customer=metpolice.

This decision is being communicated via an F14 notice due to an inability to publish a F03 (Contract award notice) in line with the Major Changes policy found at: https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Home/PublishedNotice/Changes. The F14 was deemed the most appropriate way to notify the market of the decision.
