Changes to published notices

Changes are made to most Find a Tender notices by publishing additional notices describing the changes, but pipeline notices can be edited directly.

Minor corrections

For minor corrections to text, dates, times or CPV codes in non-pipeline notices, or to provide additional information, publish a corrigendum notice (F14). Note that:

  • The opportunity or award must not be significantly affected.
  • You can make multiple corrections in a single corrigendum notice.
  • If multiple corrigendum notices change the same information, the most recent applies.
  • F14 notices cannot be used for pipeline notices - it is possible to edit them directly instead.

Major changes

For major changes to an opportunity, discontinue the current procedure and publish a new opportunity notice. To discontinue the procedure:

  • Under the common, utilities or concession regulations, publish an award notice and select that a contract is not awarded.
  • Under the defence regulations, publish a corrigendum notice and enter details in section VII.2.

Changes to scope, duration, value or suppliers of awarded contracts

For changes to the scope, duration, value or suppliers of an awarded contract:

  • Under the common, utilities or concession regulations, publish a modification notice (F20).
  • Under the defence or transport regulations, publish a replacement award notice.

Changes to pipeline notices

Pipeline notices can be edited directly.

Where to publish

If the original notice was published on Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) before 1 January 2021, the correction must be published there. The same correction may also be published on Find a Tender.
